Sotto le nuvole

Directed by:
Gianfranco Rosi

From vestiges of the past, memories of the underground world and current concerns, a lesser-known Naples emerges, full of voices and life.

Life amidst the uncertainties of a land marked by the constant proximity between life and death. This film constructs an evocative portrait of Naples, capturing the collective anxiety that pervades its inhabitants and the emotional pulse of a city shrouded in a dense fog, populated by ghosts of the past and present. It is a sensory exploration of the fears, memories, and invisible presences that inhabit the margins of the everyday.
