Su Hui-Yu #1: Selección de Cortos

Directed by:
Su Hui-Yu
(Q&A at the end of the film)

Her work unfolds at the intersections of multichannel video installation, dance, and performance. The selection brings together a body of work that, from a queer perspective, explores the encounter between body, technique, memory, and history, reconfiguring the hegemonic formulas of domination—masculine, patriarchal, state, and colonial—exercised by Taiwanese power agencies and reproduced through a symbolic imaginary that, during the second half of the 20th century, circulated through radio, television, literature, fashion, and other cultural fields.
