A cinematic reflection on memory, loss and the passage of time, portraying a Gaza of the past and lives that may never meet again.
‘'With Hasan in Gaza' unfolds simultaneously as a travelogue and a luminous cinematic gesture, where intimate memory and collective history converge to resist erasure and oblivion. Following 'A Fidai Film', Kamal Aljafari returns to the record of a trip to Gaza two decades ago, offering a sharp reflection on the present. It is not merely a matter of exhuming archives from a devastated territory, but of rewriting those warm images, filled with voices and gazes cast toward the future, as a call against the normalization of the massacre.
