Margarita discovers an unpublished archive and begins a journey that follows the deportation route of the mapuche people during the military campaigns that founded Argentina and Chile. 

storyline

Margarita, a young mapuche academic, discovers an unknown archive in Berlin with the testimonies of mapuche prisoners who were expelled from their territories during the military invasions that founded Argentina and Chile. Moved by the discovery, she embarks on a journey to retrace the deportation routes of her ancestors.

Paula Rodríguez Sickert

Director. She studied Architecture at the Hochschule der Künste (1992) and Film and Television Directing at the Deutsche Film-und Fernsehakademie in Berlin (2002). She makes documentaries on social and cultural issues, including the renowned Volver a vernos and JAAR el lamento de las imágenes.

Paola Castillo Villagrán

Director and Producer. She has produced award-winning documentaries such as Allende mi abuelo Allende, L'Œil d'or for best documentary Cannes 2015; Cielo (Canada - Chile) and Haydee y el pez volador (Chile -Brazil); and directed renowned documentaries such as Genoveva, La Última Huella and Frontera.

Gema Juárez Allen

Argentine film producer. She has produced more than 25 feature films. Mentor of several training and project development initiatives such as IDFA Academy, EAVE Puentes, Campus Latino, CCDoc and Conecta. Member of the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences of the United States.
